The Lutz group with its brands Lutz and Jesco has distinguished itself by producing for more than 6 decades quality products and offers pumps and systems for the transfer, metering and dosing of fluids and gases and has built up a sound reputation for safety in the pumping field worldwide led by its expertise in the market.
The names ”Lutz” and “Jesco” are a synonym for various kinds of pumps and has succeeded in making the name synonymous with complete systems to handle all aspects of fluid management.
The range of products includes drum and container pumps, eccentric screw pumps, air operated double diaphragm pumps, centrifugal pumps, dosing pumps, flow meter systems, measuring and control technology, chlorinators and water disinfection.
Through its distribution the Lutz group is represented in more than 80 countries and employs more than 400 persons worldwide. Own subsidiaries are in the USA, Great Britain, the Netherlands, France, Austria, Hungary, Malaysia, China and the UAE.
The hygienic pump Lutz B70V SanitaryPlus
Gentle and safe operational processes are top priorities in the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industry. All applicances used for these applications meet the latest directives and overcome the challenge of gentle pumping with a design free of bacteria traps. The eccentric screw pump Lutz B70V SanitaryPlus was developed and designed for pumping liquid foodstuffs, pharmaceutical agents and cosmetic products from different vessels and containters. The Lutz B70V SanitaryPlus is quick and easy to dismantle and reassemble enabling speedy and thorough mechanical cleaning and disinfection. All parts coming into contact with the liquid are easily accessible for inspection and service. Quickly detachable tri-clamp connections according to DIN 32676 and couplings to DIN 11851 avoid contamination even at the discharge port.

With the development of the new battery pumps B1 Battery and B2 Battery, Lutz launches a new dimension of mobility, battery performance, weight, life, capacity and ergonomics and offers maximum flexibility for the user. With the combination possibilities of the pump tubes in PP, PVDF and stainless steel in different lengths, a variety of fluids from different containers can be transferred.
With the oil-free,1000 watts powerful air motor you can achieve the same delivery capacity with 20 % less connection pressure and 4 % less air consumption comparable to other products. The motors have a very good start-up behaviour also with low pressure. The user saves energy and costs. The pumps can also be used in the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics industry, because of the oil-free operation. The motors are suitable for pumping easy flammable liquids and comply with the Atex guidelines.
Even high viscosity pumps come to their application limits very fast, when trying to pump high-viscous, non-flowable substances. The newly developed drum emptying system with follower plate from Lutz exceeds these limits and the infinitely variable operation enables particularly gentle pumping of pastes and non-flowable substances in the food, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. The complete system is supplied on a mobile trolley, which ensures maximum mobility and flexibility. Only a small amount remains in the container after emptying which is both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. The range of drive options extends from standard three-phase motors with frequency converter to compressed air motors and gear motors. The follower plate system can be used to pump highly viscous, pasty and viscous substances which are not capable to flow. Examples from the various application fields are lipsticks, mascara, ice cream, tomato paste, infant food, ointments, fats and colours.Further reading
